Hello there!

Allow me to brush the dirt off my palms and introduce myself. Iā€™m Madeline, a garden designer practicing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

I specialize in English garden design with a focus on native Western Pennsylvanian plants. If this sounds like a unique combination, keep reading!

After graduating from the Master Gardener program at Penn State University, I moved to England to study garden design. I graduated with distinction from the Professional Garden Design program at the Cotswold Gardening School in Gossington, England.

While in England, I worked at the Chelsea Flower Show, designed gardens for 1000-year-old manor houses, communed with neighborhood foxes, navigated train strikes to visit gardens, and, of course, learned to make an excellent cup of tea.

Back in my hometown of Pittsburgh, I use the garden design principles I studied in England to create beautiful outdoor spaces that support our Western Pennsylvanian ecosystem.

Please reach out to schedule a time to discuss your dream garden.

Xx - Madeline
